Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote outpatient office environment, enabling you to engage with clients via teletherapy and in-person sessions as needed. You will enjoy a flexible work schedule, particularly from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Some adjustments may be required based on patient needs, providing you with the versatility to offer the support that our clients require when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' unique experiences and craft personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions individually tailored to each patient, incorporating their specific cultural and personal contexts.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering resilience and addressing various mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.

• Assist in crisis intervention by offering timely support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their journeys toward recovery.

• Maintain conscientious and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to ensure a continuous learning environment.

• Stay abreast of the latest mental health research, treatment innovations, and culturally relevant considerations in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with an incredibly diverse patient population, including those from ethnic and cultural minority groups, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant backgrounds. This role is vital in ensuring that all clients feel welcomed, supported, and understood as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, culturally competent treatment methodologies, and evidence-based practices in mental health therapy.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive techniques.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dynamic.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health settings or community health organizations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
