Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs, which includes gathering personal and familial histories and understanding presenting issues.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring approaches based on therapeutic modalities that best suit their unique circumstances.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them with vital knowledge about mental health, self-care strategies, and coping mechanisms.

• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, including social workers, physicians, and other healthcare providers, to create a holistic support system for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Possession of an active New York State license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is required to practice independently.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in technology to effectively use telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience\n
