Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients via telehealth services through a user-friendly platform designed to facilitate meaningful therapeutic interactions. Your work schedule will primarily include Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments through virtual platforms, implementing evidence-based practices to design individualized treatment plans.

• Skillfully apply therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients’ specific mental health concerns.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a dynamic treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, engaging in regular case consultations to enhance the quality of care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to enhance their support systems.

• Participate in continuous professional development, staying informed on the latest research, trends, and evidence-based interventions in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes adults and adolescents facing various mental health conditions, seeking therapy for issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationship challenges. By working with a diverse range of clients, you will have the opportunity to engage with individuals from different backgrounds, allowing for enriched therapeutic experiences and a broad understanding of different cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong foundation in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and the ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet individual client needs.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal abilities that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, and navigating complex clinical cases.

• A collaborative spirit, promoting teamwork and valuing contributions from colleagues to ensure a supportive working environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, or training in modalities such as EMDR or schema therapy will be considered an asset. Additionally, a background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will enhance your capacity to support clients effectively.
