Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health conditions, utilizing standardized assessment tools to gather relevant information.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect the diverse needs of clients, taking into account their unique circumstances and treatment goals.

• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and the therapeutic process.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients, including regular communication with physicians, psychiatrists, and case managers.

• Stay current with ongoing trends and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies to ensure best practices are used in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population of clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues. This includes anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and more. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Valid New York State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), essential for practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, accompanied by technical proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage clinical documentation and client information.

Preferred Experience\n
