Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms of mood disorders, determining the severity, frequency, and duration of issues presented.

• Work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their needs, preferences, and therapy goals, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options available, and vital self-care strategies to empower them in managing their mental health.
\n
• Continuously monitor clients’ progression throughout their treatment journey, making necessary modifications to their treatment plans to reflect changes in conditions or circumstances.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, facilitating a team approach to treatment.
\n
• Stay informed about current research and advances in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards and policies.
\n
• Attend case consultations and team meetings regularly to discuss cases, share insights, and participate in professional development opportunities.
\n
• Serve as an advocate for clients within the community, promoting understanding and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your compassionate and informed approach will help empower and guide these diverse individuals on their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for treating mood disorders, including CBT and DBT, is essential.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various cultural and social backgrounds.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical practice specifically focusing on mood disorders.
\n
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes for clients.
\n
• Experience working within a telehealth model is highly desirable, enhancing client engagement remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
