Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new clients to identify their specific needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders among individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at building community and providing clients with tools to manage their mental health effectively.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and facilitate continuity in treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention resources and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, contributing to ongoing care and compliance with legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base within our community health clinic. You will directly impact individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and substance use issues. Your approach will cater to different demographic groups, providing inclusive care that respects each client's background and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
