Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the client’s specific challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Engage in regular follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress, providing the necessary guidance and tools to support their mental health journey.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and ensuring a culturally responsive approach in all client interactions.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with varying mental health concerns. You will be tasked with addressing complex issues such as trauma, severe mental illness, and dual diagnoses, ensuring that each client receives the compassionate and individualized support they require. Cultural competence and sensitivity to the unique needs of each patient group will be crucial in effectively building therapeutic alliances and fostering healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in providing mental health services.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client records and documentation effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
