In this vital role, you will provide specialized mental health care to children and adolescents struggling with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while serving a diverse client base through a community health clinic model. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed, based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate clinical best practices, taking into account developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns, ensuring services are tailored to each young individual’s unique experiences.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that actively engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, enhancing their ability to provide support at home.

• Coordinate care with child psychiatrists and other professionals to deliver a comprehensive, integrated treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization for affected children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in the recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a collaborative work environment dedicated to continuous improvement and professional development.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population will consist of children and adolescents, with a particular emphasis on those experiencing a wide array of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Our emphasis on family involvement ensures that caregivers are part of the therapeutic process, fostering an environment of mutual understanding and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience serving children and adolescents is preferred.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, familiar with a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective individual and family therapy, utilizing a compassionate, child-centered approach.
\n
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other computer applications for effective documentation and data management.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, with an ability to work seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
