The ideal candidate will work primarily with young patients facing mental health challenges in a remote telehealth setting, offering critical support and interventions designed to foster their mental well-being and growth.

Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting through our telehealth platform, allowing you to reach and support patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our work culture emphasizes a collaborative approach, where counselors regularly communicate with each other and with psychiatrists to provide holistic treatment. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, analyzing their emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop targeted and personalized treatment plans that address individual developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide effective therapy sessions focused on anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in creating a supportive atmosphere for youth development.

• Coordinate treatment efforts by working closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate strategies and support, offering guidance and interventions during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and families on mental health disorders, offering resources and support to foster understanding and resilience.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records that comply with healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate proactively in regular team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and fostering a collegial environment.

• Stay informed on the latest developments and research in child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic models, and treatment methods.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering both individual and family therapy focused on young populations.

• Exceptional communication skills with a patient-centered approach to building rapport with children and families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) management and other relevant healthcare software systems.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
