Work Environment\n

This position is primarily designed for remote work, allowing counselors the flexibility to assist patients from the comfort of their own settings while maintaining a professional and structured approach. Our outpatient office in Ontario serves as a dynamic hub for team collaboration, case discussions, and occasional in-person meetings. While the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on patient appointments and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs, setting the foundation for tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that empower participants, help them share experiences, and build a strong sense of community.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinical staff to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that meets all aspects of health and wellness.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support patients during times of acute mental health emergencies, exhibiting poise and expertise.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment approaches, and available external resources to foster understanding and enhance recovery.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training through case consultations, team meetings, and industry workshops.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
