Work Environment\n

This position is primarily a remote role that allows for a flexible work-life balance while also providing access to an outpatient office setting as needed for client sessions. Operating from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you can engage with a range of clients in a supportive and well-equipped environment, ensuring they receive the best of care and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate their mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring they are actively involved in their own care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorder symptoms.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them to be active participants in their recovery.

• Diligently monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on therapeutic findings and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care tailored to the client’s overall health needs.

• Stay updated with the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic approaches to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies, while also engaging in professional development activities aimed at refining skills in mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities for mood disorder treatment, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, facilitating effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes when treating mood disorders.

• Excellent communication skills paired with an ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
