Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations, gathering detailed information to inform treatment plans.

• Develop individualized intervention strategies and recovery plans for clients, integrating therapeutic techniques for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to clients' specific needs.
\n
• Monitor patient progress against treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary in collaboration with clients and healthcare team members.
\n
• Engage with psychiatrists and attending physicians to coordinate care for clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity and quality in treatment.
\n
• Provide support in identifying and mitigating behaviors that may hinder recovery, empowering clients to overcome challenges related to their mental health.

• Educate and guide family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health issues, enhancing their capacity to support their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, with a strong understanding of documentation requirements and processes.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in addressing both mental health and related physical health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or outpatient setting.
\n
• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in psychotherapy.
\n
• A deep understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications for client treatment.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
