Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's trauma history and psychological needs, employing tools and methodologies suited for virtual sessions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate therapy sessions focused on fostering coping strategies, emotional regulation, and the resilience of clients as they navigate their recovery journey.

• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that every patient receives a cohesive and individualized plan of care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, effectively managing immediate psychological needs.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and proactive coping strategies to empower them in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals coping with trauma, including, but not limited to, those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, with varying levels of recovery needs. You will play a crucial role in guiding them towards healing and stability through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in the area of trauma therapy.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate effective crisis management strategies during high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and computer applications to facilitate effective remote service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
