Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to accurately assess clients’ trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans centered around trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide cohesive and integrated care for all clients.

• Offer crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective support.

• Educate clients and families about trauma responses and available resources to encourage self-management and resilience.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with clients.

• A proven track record of working collaboratively within a team dynamic.
