As an integral member of our remote outpatient team, you will have the unique opportunity to provide critical mental health services to individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and dissociative disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, identifying key elements that will influence their treatment pathway.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and foster resilience, employing therapeutic modalities that include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma experiences, cultivate adaptive coping skills, and support their healing journeys.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care tailored to the complex needs of trauma survivors.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during instances of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and navigate available resources effectively.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards while safeguarding confidentiality.

• Engage actively in professional development opportunities and participate in regular case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing the delivery of trauma-informed services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, military veterans dealing with PTSD, and others struggling with complex trauma and associated mental health disorders. By employing trauma-informed care principles, you will work diligently to create a safe space where your clients can express themselves without judgment and actively participate in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions in individual and group settings.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
