Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, emotional states, and unique needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and overall resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing their experiences.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on developing coping strategies and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Respond to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults dealing with trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population is diverse and often seeking specialized support to navigate their experiences and develop healthier coping mechanisms. By tailoring your approach to the unique experiences of each client, you will contribute positively to their journeys toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience specializing in trauma-related therapies.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
