Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, which allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule. Our therapists operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility required based on patient needs. As part of our commitment to integrating care, you will work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate patient care efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the impact of trauma on patients' lives and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and coping skills development.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma experiences and explore recovery pathways.

• Provide critical crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, assisting patients to regain stability and safety.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to foster holistic support.
\n
• Ensure comprehensive and precise documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment progress while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative treatment strategies and share best practices.

• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to remain abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and integrated mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role centers around individuals whose lives have been profoundly impacted by various forms of trauma. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, who may present with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience post-licensure, demonstrating competence in trauma-informed care practices.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Ability to foster empathetic and therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and a familiarity with computer applications for documentation and client management.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
