Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, documenting each client's journey from initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques suited to diverse client backgrounds.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting intervention strategies and goals as necessary to promote effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to coordinate care and support each client’s holistic needs.

• Assist families and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, providing education and strategies to support recovery.

• Manage referral processes for specialized care when applicable, ensuring continuity of care for all clients.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, providing strategies to mitigate feelings of anxiety or depression and fostering a safe environment for growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a wide array of backgrounds, experiences, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A passing score on relevant licensure examinations, such as the NCE or the NCMHCE.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably with experience using AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate approach to client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing mental health counseling in a community health setting.

• Familiarity with a range of psychiatric disorders, emotional health conditions, and substance use challenges.

• Understanding of the latest clinical practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects as defined by healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus.
