Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct sessions and collaborate with team members from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Our work hours typically span from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required depending on patient needs and schedules. You will be equipped with the tools to conduct virtual sessions, providing the same level of care as in-person interactions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment strategies that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, focusing on approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their traumatic experiences while fostering an environment of trust and safety.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, maintaining open communication for integrated treatment plans.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, equipping them with the skills necessary for recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including the utilization of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings while contributing to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest best practices in trauma care.

The individuals you will support come from diverse backgrounds and have experienced trauma in various forms. Our focus is specifically on those grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your therapeutic approach will help clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and regain control over their lives. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space in remote therapy sessions, you will facilitate healing and empower patients on their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A strong commitment to trauma-informed care with demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a safe therapeutic environment for clients.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and other digital tools relevant to remote counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role is preferable, we welcome candidates with a strong personal or volunteer commitment to trauma-focused work. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be beneficial. Additionally, a knack for working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
