Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and collaboratively develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their trauma, learn coping skills, and support one another in their healing journeys.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing your expertise to stabilize and reassure clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms while informing them of available community resources for additional support.

• Maintain stringent and secure documentation practices in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have survived trauma, ranging from adult populations to specific groups dealing with complex mental health issues. Our clients often present with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Your sensitivity and commitment to empathetic care will be integral to providing the support these individuals need as they seek to understand and process their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
