Work Environment\n

This role is based remotely but will serve clients in a community health clinic setting. Your schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will engage with a diverse population and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide integrated care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to gather patient histories and develop personalized treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and promote emotional resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient progress.

• Host engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in team consultations, professional development sessions, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including survivors of various traumas such as abuse, neglect, and loss. Your expertise will be essential in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys, build resilience, and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach in client interactions.

• A proven ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications to enhance workflow efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
