Work Environment\n

You will operate primarily from a remote setting, maintaining flexibility while ensuring that all therapy sessions are conducted in a confidential and professional manner. Typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required for patient appointments and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individuals' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment methods.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and recovery from trauma.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies as needed.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available coping resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with a diverse range of patients who are navigating the complexities of trauma. This involves providing specialized support for survivors of various traumatic experiences—helping them understand their trauma responses and empowering them to reclaim their lives. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with this vulnerable population and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and employing therapeutic interventions effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with additional certifications or specialized training in trauma-focused therapies will be given preference. Experience in group therapy settings and familiarity with community resources for trauma support will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
