Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and powerfully identify effective treatment approaches tailored to their individual needs.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and wellbeing using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions where clients can safely explore their trauma narratives, practice coping strategies, and initiate the healing process.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, and fellow therapists to ensure holistic care and a unified approach to patient treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention to assist clients during trauma-related emergencies or acute psychological distress, ensuring a calm and supportive presence.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of patient interactions as required by legal and ethical standards, contributing to effective continuity of care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings that focus on collaborative treatment strategies and improving trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current on advancements in trauma therapy through ongoing education and professional development, ensuring the use of contemporary strategies and theories in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors dealing with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique needs and backgrounds of these individuals will guide your therapeutic interventions and care approaches, enabling impactful engagement and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic setting with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations, ensuring client safety and care.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be advantageous. Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention strategies is preferred, enhancing your ability to provide comprehensive mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
