Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' backgrounds and trauma histories to craft tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional regulation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to process their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Respond to and manage crisis situations with calm professionalism, providing intervention and support as needed during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, empowering them with knowledge about coping strategies and available resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development activities relevant to trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with ongoing research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals who have faced traumatic experiences, including a diverse range of patients suffering from PTSD and related disorders. A significant aspect of your role will be to establish trust and rapport with patients, guiding them through their recovery paths within a compassionate framework tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities, trauma-related disorders, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside interpersonal abilities that foster a non-judgmental, empathetic therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n
