Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while ensuring our therapists remain connected with each other and our support staff. You will work from your home office, engaging with patients through virtual therapy sessions that allow us to reach those in need across various locations. The position operates on a standard schedule, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments possible based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the history and impact of trauma on patients, identifying appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building resilience, following established best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma and learn coping strategies.
\n
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring each patient's holistic needs are met.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related situations, displaying the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of patient progress, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to contribute to collective learning and professional development.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with individuals impacted by trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This patient population requires a therapist who is not only knowledgeable but also empathetic, understanding the profound effects of trauma on their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team, respecting diverse perspectives and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling environment is preferred.

• Hands-on experience providing trauma-focused therapy, demonstrating effective application of treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
