Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth platform to conduct therapy sessions, enabling flexibility in service provision while fostering a genuine connection with clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes other mental health professionals and psychiatrists, in a supportive environment that encourages growth and continued education.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed patient histories and discern individual treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and periodically review personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and strengthening resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and engage in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members during case consultations to ensure the delivery of integrated care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms while also directing them to available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities and team meetings to continuously improve trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position centers primarily on trauma survivors, with a focus on individuals facing various forms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist, you will lead clients through their trauma recovery journeys, providing not only therapeutic support but also a safe space for healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.

• Strong knowledge base of trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and provide clear guidance during high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, paired with the ability to engage effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specifically in trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience with delivering trauma-informed therapies and interventions will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
