Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments aimed at evaluating patients' trauma histories, ensuring accurate identification of their psychological needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and long-term mental wellness.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address acute and chronic trauma responses.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through the process of trauma expression, coping strategy development, and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide necessary crisis intervention services during emergencies related to trauma to ensure patient safety and immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, therapeutic processes, and community resources regarding mental health care.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, including the use of an electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be crucial in treating patients with varying levels of trauma history, including those suffering from PTSD, dissociative disorders, and other related mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and the ability to adapt these methods to meet the needs of individual patients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards clients.
