Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and treatment needs.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, tailoring approaches to each patient’s distinct circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Guide clients through the healing process by helping them articulate their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to create a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Respond promptly to crises involving trauma-related emergencies and provide essential support during these critical moments.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on various trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them to engage actively in their recovery.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical documentation standards by maintaining precise and confidential patient records.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops centered on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You'll work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating their healing journeys and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care principles, trauma-related disorders, and resilience-building interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to maintain composure under pressure and respond effectively in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly those who have directly engaged with trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, as it will allow you to transition smoothly into providing virtual care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
