Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate individual patients’ trauma history and create tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate the complexities of trauma and learn essential coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, addressing both mental health and physical well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and guidance for individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to reinforce collaborative care strategies and stay updated on best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on assisting individuals who have endured significant trauma, including those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. You will be working closely with a diverse client demographic, which includes children, adults, and families, each with unique challenges and backgrounds. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these individuals toward recovery and empowering them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders with substantial understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
