Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify each client’s specific treatment needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your approach.

• Create tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery, resilience, and healthy coping mechanisms, consistently adapting strategies in response to client progress and feedback.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, to develop a holistic treatment plan that meets the emotional and psychological needs of patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Provide education and resources for clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about trauma responses and supportive coping strategies.

• Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.

• Participate actively in professional development sessions and team meetings to stay abreast of evolving best practices in trauma therapy and contribute to team-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those living with PTSD, complex trauma syndromes, and various dissociative disorders. By applying your expertise in trauma-informed care, you will help clients navigate their challenges, fostering healing and resilience through compassionate therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, alongside strong understanding of resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust in a virtual setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
