Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote working arrangement while also providing the option to collaborate in our outpatient office setting. Our practice hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing a balanced work-life approach. While this is a full-time role, we understand that some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the scheduling needs of our diverse patient base.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, gaining insights into patients' personal experiences and crafting tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect the cultural and individual backgrounds of patients, ensuring effective and relevant care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, using your skills to de-escalate situations and guide individuals toward safety and recovery.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and available treatment options, guiding them toward community resources when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health records (EHR) to streamline documentation.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to ensure best practices in care delivery.

• Stay informed on the latest research trends, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy, continuously refining your skill set.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is required.

• Demonstrated deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly through a culturally competent lens.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with a commitment to culturally responsive care.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to perform under pressure in challenging situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer applications to manage patient documentation efficiently.

• A commitment to maintaining professional ethical standards, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries in all patient interactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work in multicultural settings or with marginalized populations is highly desirable.

• Experience in crisis management or inpatient settings may be beneficial.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral pathways within the Gilbert, Arizona area would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
