Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating patients' trauma history to identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and focus on building resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing and healing from trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and effective response.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma reactions, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including survivors of abusive relationships, veterans experiencing PTSD, and individuals facing life-altering events. Your compassion and expertise will provide them with the much-needed support and guidance on their journey toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Candidates with prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders will be prioritized. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team are also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
