This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a consistent work-life balance. Your core hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be necessary based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and developing customized treatment approaches.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and fostering resilience among clients.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their experiences, developing coping strategies, and encouraging recovery.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention and emergency support related to trauma when necessary.

• Educating patients and their families about coping mechanisms, trauma responses, and available resources to enhance their support system.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient interactions are logged appropriately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult and adolescent clients dealing with trauma-related disorders, including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and issues stemming from complex trauma. You will utilize a trauma-informed approach to create a supportive healing environment for individuals navigating these challenges.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n
