Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories, tailoring your approach to their unique experiences.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on both trauma recovery and fostering resilience, employing therapeutic modalities that best fit the specific needs of each patient.

• Offer evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s mental health needs are addressed holistically.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them to engage actively in the healing process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary patient population includes individuals affected by various forms of trauma, notably those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and respond effectively to patient needs.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting focused on trauma-informed care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
