Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring you have access to the resources you need to support your clients effectively. Working within a collaborative outpatient office setting, our counselors engage with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to holistic patient care, sharing insights and techniques that drive successful treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial mental health evaluations and document detailed case histories from the initial consultation through the treatment process.

• Assess and evaluate the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients to formulate effective intervention strategies.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches.
\n
• Maintain progress tracking for all clients, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure optimal recovery.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to develop integrated care strategies.
\n
• Coordinate with hospitals and follow up on clients admitted for inpatient care to ensure continuity of support.
\n
• Proactively identify and address behaviors that hinder recovery, providing education and support to clients and their families.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental and behavioral challenges associated with client treatment.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, addiction, and more. Our clients come from all walks of life, allowing you to apply a wide range of therapeutic techniques and foster a genuine connection that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor in clinical settings.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is preferred.
\n
• Understanding of mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, and addiction management strategies.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to support clients in their recovery journey.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with specific populations, including adolescents, families, or individuals with dual diagnoses.
\n
• Previous involvement in developing group therapy programs or workshops focused on skill-building and self-care.
\n
• Experience in utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
