Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that promote recovery and resilience, engaging clients in their healing processes.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and rebuild their lives.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic support for our clients.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure a high-quality standard of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, continually updating your practice with the most effective approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from various trauma-related conditions. The clientele includes survivors of abuse, military veterans, and individuals dealing with loss or significant life changes. Your expertise will guide them through their unique challenges, providing not just therapy, but a sense of hope and direction as they heal.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Experience: A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches that foster resilience.

• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor; and the ability to remain calm in high-stress scenarios.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
