Work Environment\n

This position is characterized by a flexible, remote working arrangement, allowing you to effectively balance your professional and personal responsibilities. While the primary work setting is virtual, you will also be a key part of in-person outpatient care when necessary, facilitating robust connections with clients. Your work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for patients.

• Provide critical crisis intervention to support patients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and training that prioritize trauma-informed care methodologies.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and those affected by catastrophic life events. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
