Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, offering flexibility to cater to the needs of clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, adaptability to patients' schedules may be required. Our telehealth platform enables seamless collaboration and communication among team members and facilitates effective service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' background and specific trauma experiences.
\n
• Develop bespoke treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and foster resilience.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, including medication management and psychosocial support.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive the support they need when they need it most.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to further aid recovery.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client sessions in alignment with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continual professional development to stay current on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have endured various forms of trauma, ranging from childhood experiences to recent overwhelming events. Your understanding and application of trauma-informed care will be crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journey, ensuring each client feels safe and validated throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic alliance.

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly when addressing crisis situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications to document client interactions.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, such as EMDR and TF-CBT, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with community resources and psychosocial support systems that facilitate comprehensive client care is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
