Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, providing therapists with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a safe and comfortable setting while supporting clients during their healing journeys. Our work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will engage with a diverse array of patients and be part of a supportive team that collaborates regularly to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma background and frame effective, individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize recovery from trauma while promoting resilience through evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid in the processing of trauma.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to develop coping mechanisms and processes for healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure seamless and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma symptoms, coping strategies, and available resources that enhance their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in alignment with ethical and legal regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development workshops aimed at refining trauma-informed practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge base with the latest findings in trauma therapy and best practices to enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be to work with clients affected by trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. This position is crucial in providing them with the tools and support needed to navigate their recovery pathways. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and an array of treatment modalities dedicated to trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, providing a calming presence for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
