This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while still operating within the framework of our outpatient office. You will be part of a collaborative team of mental health professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care practices. Though remote, regular interactions through virtual meetings and case consultations will sustain our strong team dynamic and commitment to shared goals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' histories and identify tailored treatment modalities.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that center around recovery, focusing on enhancing resilience and coping skills.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions designed to foster community and shared experiences for trauma survivors.
\n
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical practices.
\n
• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, strategies, and ongoing professional development within the practice.

• Stay current with research and developments in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele predominantly includes individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient base, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. Our therapeutic practices focus on creating a supportive atmosphere conducive to healing, acknowledging the importance of cultural sensitivity in treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to patients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n
