Work Environment\nThis position provides the unique opportunity to work remotely while still being part of a collaborative and supportive organization. You will engage with a team of professionals dedicated to improving mental health outcomes, allowing for flexible scheduling to meet patient needs. The work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a balanced work-life dynamic.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine appropriate treatment plans. \n
- Developing individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery and fostering resilience, ensuring each client receives personalized care. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process their trauma effectively. \n
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to express their feelings, develop coping mechanisms, and promote healing. \n
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Responding to crisis situations with appropriate intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies. \n
- Educating clients and their family members on trauma responses and available coping resources. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to refine your skills in trauma-informed care. \n
- Staying current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to provide the best care possible. \n
The primary focus of this position is on assisting individuals who have experienced traumatic events, including those suffering from PTSD or complex trauma. You will work with clients of various backgrounds, and as such, understanding diverse cultural perspectives and trauma’s multifaceted nature is crucial. Your role directly influences their ability to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term mental wellness.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona. \n
- A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions. \n
- Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations, providing steady support for clients in need. \n
While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting. \n
- Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, showcasing effective outcomes with clients and clinical practices. \n
