Work Environment\n

This position is structured to be fully remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients across Peoria, Arizona, and beyond. You will utilize a secure electronic health record (EHR) system to document sessions, track progress, and communicate with team members efficiently. A typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to appropriately address patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that respect each patient's unique experiences and backgrounds.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions to align with the cultural perspectives of clients.

• Collaborate closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring a calm and supportive environment for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, therapeutic options, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in adherence to both ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional training centered on culturally competent practices.

• Stay current with mental health research, best practices, and emerging concerns that affect diverse populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy, particularly with diverse and underserved populations.
\n
• Exceptional skill in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor when faced with challenging situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities that foster a trusting relationship with clients from all walks of life.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and relevant software applications.
\n
• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth settings and utilizing virtual communication tools effectively for therapy sessions.

• A background in IET, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based modalities.

• Prior involvement with advocacy groups serving marginalized populations or community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
