Work Environment\n

This role operates primarily in a remote setting, utilizing our telehealth facility to connect with clients. The flexibility of remote work enables you to create a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring you have access to the necessary tools and support to deliver exceptional care. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on client needs. As part of our collaborative team, you will engage in regular virtual consultations and training sessions to continuously enhance your professional skills.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Allegiance Mental Healthcare, you will:

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building tailored to each client’s unique needs.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the complexities of trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care and optimize patient outcomes.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support and guidance during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and equip them with coping strategies and resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, complying with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to collectively work towards improved client care and share insights on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices related to trauma therapy to continuously elevate the quality of care offered to clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An accredited Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

• The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team while remaining calm under pressure.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
