Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate the varied needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ backgrounds and trauma histories, identifying appropriate therapeutic strategies.

  Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and recovery from trauma, reviewing and adapting them as needed based on patient progress.

  Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

  Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance their overall mental well-being.

  Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and integrated care to every patient.

  Provide crisis intervention during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring immediate and appropriate support is available to those in need.

  Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

  Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient records are up-to-date.

  Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and training, keeping abreast of the latest research and treatment practices in trauma care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma. This includes patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Working with this population requires a deep understanding of trauma's psychological impacts and the ability to offer compassionate support and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications\n

  Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

  At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.

  Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and successful trauma-informed treatment approaches.

  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship with patients.

  Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation and treatment tracking.

  A collaborative mindset and the willingness to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
