Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to determine clients' needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on a comprehensive understanding of our clients' mental health histories and presenting issues.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective intervention.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups via telehealth, focusing on topics such as coping skills, stress management, and emotional regulation.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, equipping clients with coping strategies and safety plans during moments of acute distress.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options to empower them on their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring all client interactions and treatment plans are well recorded.

• Participate in case consultation sessions, engage in team meetings, and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in mental health counseling to inform practice improvements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LPCC license in California is essential.

• Deep understanding of a variety of mental health disorders along with effective treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and craft effective treatment plans.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy with a commitment to supporting diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The starting salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
