You will engage with clients primarily through secure video conferencing platforms and utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation and track progress. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's history, including their trauma experiences and current mental health status.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage discussion, emotional expression, and the development of coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate resources to stabilize and assist clients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing the support network for recovery.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve treatment methodologies and approaches.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform and enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population you will serve consists of individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, accidents, and natural disasters. By focusing on trauma-informed care, you will be instrumental in helping clients process their experiences, build resilience, and reclaim their lives. Your contributions will directly support their healing journey and long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and client-centered approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience directly working with trauma survivors is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
