Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and intake assessments to inform treatment decisions.

• Document client information meticulously from initial consultations through the entire treatment cycle.
\n
• Design individualized treatment and intervention plans that address the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to enhance client care.

• Provide follow-up support to clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring a smooth transition back into outpatient care.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to address them.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding mental health issues and navigating the challenges of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, families, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, peers, and referral sources.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor or therapist, preferably in a telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR.

• Proficiency in dealing with underlying physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Understanding of the best practices utilized by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Insight into the impacts of psychotropic medications as prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
