Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between medical conditions and mental well-being in patients.

• Designing and executing tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing both psychiatric disorders and chronic medical conditions.

• Providing crisis intervention support and guiding patients through mental health emergencies with calm and assurance.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation of all patient interactions while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engaging in regular team meetings and case conferences to collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary care approaches.

• Continuously updating your knowledge of mental health practices and emerging research that informs treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults and adolescents who present with complex mental health and co-occurring medical issues, such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Our clients often face a multitude of challenges, and you will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery and wellness journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, or LMFT within the state of Washington.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in addressing mental health needs in individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that ensure effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards in all patient dealings.

• Proficiency in electronic health records and telehealth technology to streamline patient care.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve holistic patient care goals.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in integrated care settings or familiarity working with clients who have chronic medical conditions will be highly valued. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
