Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments and generating comprehensive reports, including tailored vocational recommendations based on each client’s unique needs.

• Performing biopsychosocial evaluations to determine suitable client placements for various assignments, counseling, or referrals to additional services.
\n
• Providing culturally sensitive counseling on mental health and substance abuse issues to individual clients and group sessions, all while delivering effective case management.

• Collaborating closely with clients, case managers, and other internal or external providers to coordinate holistic client care.
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date clinical and administrative documentation as per RAMS policies and clinical standards.
\n
• Delivering crisis interventions as needed, utilizing evidence-based strategies to stabilize immediate concerns.
\n
• Participating in clinical team meetings and case conferences to enhance multidisciplinary care approaches.
\n
• Engaging in individual and group supervision sessions for ongoing professional development.
\n
• Providing significant educational resources to clients through public outreach and referrals for additional support.

• Assessing clients’ work readiness and learning needs by utilizing psychological testing as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing major mental health challenges including, but not limited to, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and significant trauma-related issues. Your expertise in various psychotherapy modalities will enable you to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of clients who may experience co-occurring substance use disorders alongside their mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Valid Social Work License as per Washington state regulations such as LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in a range of psychotherapy modalities relevant to diverse diagnoses and treatment plans.
\n
• A proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, often dynamic environment while managing multiple client needs.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
\n
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, to be verified through a third-party background check.
\n
• A current authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in telehealth settings is preferred, along with familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client communication. Additionally, candidates with training in crisis intervention techniques will be highly regarded.
