Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with a high-functioning, multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, medical doctors, and fellow counselors. Our outpatient office in Issaquah, Washington serves as a base where team members can meet when necessary to strategize, participate in case reviews, and engage in team-building activities. You will have access to state-of-the-art technology to facilitate telehealth sessions and maintain efficient communication with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intake assessments, gathering comprehensive psycho-social data from clients, families, and relevant stakeholders to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Implement trauma-informed care principles while integrating various therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues and addiction.

• Develop and track individualized treatment plans based on client strengths and preferences, implementing crisis intervention strategies when necessary.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that encourage peer support, skill-building, and the sharing of personal experiences related to recovery.

• Collaborate actively with your team, participating in regular case consultations and training to ensure adherence to best practices in mental health counseling.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress utilizing electronic health records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning alongside clients and their families to facilitate smooth transitions to community resources post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adult clients struggling with substance use disorders, alongside adolescents and families impacted by these challenges. Our client base is diverse, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and varying levels of readiness for change. Your role will include understanding individual motivation and tailoring support accordingly, promoting both mental health awareness and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a mental health setting, preferably involving addiction counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
